Memorial Day

Hello everyone,

We've been getting a lot of requests for some updates to the blog, so here it is. Hopefully there won't be so much time between this one and the next one.

For Memorial Day, we took off to the waterfalls in Brevard, NC. Lori, Matthew and I headed out with Heather and Bella for the day. They were absolutely beautiful. We probably went exploring a bit farther than the rules allow, but it made for some great pictures. We've decided we're going back soon with our swim suits!!!

Matthew has been doing very well. His birthday is coming up on June 10 - wow - a whole year already!! Its pretty hard to believe - especially when we come across newborns and to think Matthew was that size at one point - unbelievable. Lately, he has been doing really well with walking. It started with the 1-step-here, 2-step-there thing. Then we could coax him to walk between mommy and daddy about 3 feet or so. Now he just takes off most of the time without thinking about it much. Its amazing to watch him. He's not running a marathon or anything yet, but should be soon...hopefully by the next blog entry!!
